Based at Nadi Back Road and as the name suggests Vanua Clay is 100% Fijian made with products baked at 1000 degree celosias in a gas kiln for more than 8 hours and can be taken through Customs at the airport without a hassle for tourists.
The energetic and creative team at Vanua Clay came together after three family members who were working for an Arts and Crafts business in Nadi were about to be laid off due to the business being sold. The brothers then decided to pool their resources to buy the equipment and nurture the skills and knowledge already acquired to continue the clay making business to keep the family employed.
