FDB TO PARTICIPATE AT GSC

The Fiji Development Bank will be joining the ministry of finance at a promotional drive to promote government services at the government services centre (GSC) in Suva next week.

The weeklong event will be held from Monday, 24 June through until 1pm on Saturday, 29 June at the GSC located at the Thompson Street and Scott Street junction across from the Suva Post Office.

FDB will be joined during the week by the Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority (FRCA), the Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF) and the Reserve Bank of Fiji (RBF).

“This promotional event will be an opportunity for us to share our products and services with people on the street, provide business advice and find out how best we may be able service the people that come to us,” said FDB’s chief executive officer, Mr. Deve Toganivalu.

“This is also an opportunity for anyone who may have had a business idea but not quite sure if they will be able to get financing for it; to come and talk to our very experienced staff. Events like this should always be taken advantage of by members of the public because this is being done with them in mind.”

FDB provides tailor-made financial products for agriculture (including fisheries and forestry), wholesale/retail, professional business services, transport and communication, tourism and manufacturing amongst others. As a development financier, equity and security requirements are flexible based on the viability of the project proposed.
