Bank Donates to PM's Flood Relief Appeal

we are offering to FDB clientsand non-clients who have been affected to help this process along. 
 
“For our clients, this assistance is being offered in addition to the other considerations such as eschedulingr of loan repayments, freezing of interest rates inthe interim and/or interest-free repayment.” 
 
In accepting the donation, Col. Seruiratu thanked FDB for their generosity and said that he appreciated the response local businesses and people have had towards helping the affected.
 

 

 

Chief Executive Officer of the Fiji Development Bank, Ratu Deve Toganivalu, today (10/02) handed over a $5,000 cheque to the Permanent Secretary for Provincial Development, Colonel Inia Seruiratu in Suva for the Prime Minister’s Flood Relief Appeal. 

“This is just a small donation from us all in response to what has been a devastating event to the lives of those affected. The Bank staff are still collecting a bit more money, which we will also hand over in due course.” Ratu Deve said as he handed over the cheque on behalf of the board, management and staff of FDB.
 
“I would like to acknowledge and also thank DISMAC for the great work that you have done over the last three weeks, it could not have been easy and for that we are grateful. 
 
“The recovery part is now underway and we have in place the Reserve Bank of Fiji’s Flood Rehabilitation Facility (FRF), which
